The Year end Gentleman~

Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 9:25 PM
For the first time.

HEY HO LEGGO!
Haven't posted anything for quite awhile.
Since school has alr started, its really difficult
to find the time to blog.
You know they say,
" The Bad thing is that Time Flies,
The Good thing is that you're the Pilot"
I think for me,
I don't see how the "Good thing"
is in any way beneficial for me.
LOL

If I had a chance,
I would just crash whatever I'm piloting.
Because in our hurry to chase after Time,
we only care about how we want things to be in the future.
we forget about how things could not have been in the present.
we kinda miss out the little things in Life.
The little things,
like your parents love that you couldn't see.
like your friends care despite showing the least gratitude.
like the difficult times you struggled through that only made you stronger.
It's these little things that could not have been there,
It's these little things that we take for granted,
only to realise its existence once its gone.
Appreciation is huge :)

I had a great start to my school year this year.
Although it was getting a little, JUST A LITTLE,
annoying when ALL the teachers in every subject,
have to constantly remind us about the O levels we have this year,
as if its not hindering us at all. LOL
I kinda feel that the teachers are more excited than the students.
HAHA
Maybe they've seen so many batches of students not performing at
their highest potential which the teachers saw in them.
Watching my seniors taking their O level results the other day
made me really nervous about the examinations,
because from the statistics and in comparison to my goals,
I really have to work really really hard.
I made a deal with Joshua that whatever he gets for L1R4 this year,
I have to beat him with my L1R5.
HAHA I really hope I don't forget this. LOL

Other than being able to see all that familiar faces again,
especially Ms. MengTong Lumie haha! Such a unique partner!
But school had 1 more event that I was really excited for,
partly because its my last SC event in Woodgrove.
The Sec 1 Orientation camp :D

Had a lot of plans for this camp.
Now that Hasif is also around to be an OGL,
we gotta make things more interesting. hehehe.
E.g.
We had a discussion as to who be the toilet manager
if the sec one's were taking a shower at the shower room.
Because we cannot allow them to take their sweet sweet time
we have to rush them.
In case if sneaky little Hasif and I were doing toilet manager,
we had an idea,
we would bang on the cubical doors
*BANG BANG BANG*
Me : " OI 8 mins is all you get! Then get out!"
8mins later and if they don't come out,
* Hasif takes out bucket of toy cockroaches *
We would angry bird all those little toy insects into the cubical
MUHAHAHAHA

I had a lot of plans for this camp because,
of the previous unpleasant experiences as an OGL.
Don't get me wrong, being an OGL is FUN
HELL FUN >:D
But last time, I was inexperienced.
Though there were successful moments,
those failures never fail to haunt me HAHA.
Its my 5th time being an OGL
and I'm pretty sure I'm ready hehehe.

After the past experiences of being an OGL,
if you're gonna be one,
it would be in your best interest to have ready
all your nonsensical cheers.
I'm not referring to those performing cheers thats like
" T2! T2! is the best!!"
No. Not that one.
I'm referring to what I call "defense cheer".
something like:

" GIVE THEM ONE WHATEVER CLAP"
or
"GIVE THEM ONE LAME CLAP!"

" I SAY MILO YOU SAY DINOSAUR
I SAY DINOSAUR YOU SAY EXTINCT
I SAY EXTINCT YOU SAY YOU STINK!"

HAHA THATS ALL YOU GET!
can't let you in to all of my defense cheer XD
hehehe
Last year in 2011 when I was the OGL of class 1E1,
I thought I was already prepared to handle the class,
until when I was dragged into this war cheer.
and i failed to defend my class.
I failed.
TERRIBLY.
Hohoho so this year, it ain't going down like that again!

This was taken at the start of the camp.
One fact.
Most of the SC's here have a common interest
"To be OGL's so don't need to attend class"
XD
CONFIRM PLUS CHOP.
I really thought everyone was energetic.
Until I saw this.

 LOL

If I could remember clearly,
Feng kun, Hasif and me were the only ones
taking down notes about the camp LOL
SC AH! CAMP HAVEN'T START ALR WANT LEPAK!
#you siao! XD
haha kidding~

I won't be typing about what exactly happened in the camp.
Because J.K. ROWLING will kill me if I beat the length
of her Harry potter series with my 2 day 1 night stories!
JK k I know That was lame.
But I'll be sharing with you guys,
the special part of this camp for me.

Ever since last year's Sec 1 Orientation campfire night,
I couldn't really enjoy all the other campfires that I've participated after that.
YOU KNOW WHY?
BECAUSE HOLLA IMMA TELL YOU WHY NOW.
LOL ( k that's more lame than the first one.)
Haiz. I don't where to start. I wish I was in your school.
That way I could really really understand how you feel.

Long story cut short,
I was assigned to be the Campfire Emcee last year
and when I got that duty, I thought it was really simple.
and I screwed it.
Rachel was my partner Emcee last year,
and she felt the same way too.
The feeling was kinda like
embarrassment + Disappointment + more embarrassment.
Alumni s were there last year,
seniors were there too.
Everyone thought Rachel and I would do a good job,
but... we screwed it.
Fantastic.
After that night,
that campfire experience totally haunt
the rest of my other campfire nights.
I don't know whats on your mind anymore.
I'm trying really hard not to say too much but

So guess what came back to haunt me.
Yeah you got it.
I got assigned to be campfire Emcee again.
I was shocked at first because after what happened last year,
it would be crazy if the teachers asked me to be the Emcee again.
But luckily this year, there's like 6 Emcees
Rachel , Veeva , Shermandy, Kah hao , Amirul and Me.
Because of that I was actually not that nervous as
if anything would have cock up, i still got people to back me up.
I also don't want to give you the impression like i don't care.
Because I really do care.Worried about what you're going through.

Before campfire night started,
I wanted to make the campfire less awkward, more hype.
I was singing and dancing around the campfire area
LIKE A MAD MAN.
thats before the campfire even started LOL.
In the end camp fire went really smooth and the 6 of us
ROCK-ED IT WOOOHOOO! OH YEAH!
Hurts to see someone you really like being hurt by someone else
and you just can't do anything to help that person.

The class I took was 1T2 and each class was accompanied by 4 OGLs
which means other than me, there was
Aruni, Joseph and Jarrel.
They did an awesome job getting the class together
when preparing for the campfire performance while I was away
preparing for the campfire Emcee.
With their AWESOME leadership,
T2 won 2nd place WOOHOO :D
Sorry for being such a nagg the past few days
I'll stop :)

I felt so good after the entire camp.
Mainly because it was a major success and also
because I've overcome my fear of being the campfire Emcee.
You have no idea how tired I was after this photo was taken.
I was actually still pretty hyper cuz it just ended
but as I was walking home, the "shag-ness" started kicking in.
LOL
If you ever need someone to chat with,
I'm always here alright :)

Walking back home and I kept about this SC event being my last.
Mixed feelings.
I must say, its from all these SC events that taught me A LOT.
I failed so many times in SC,
and its after so many experiences,
I finally succeeded.
Glad that I didn't give up and chicken-ed off halfway.
Looking back, I feel really glad that I was accepted into SC
when I was in secondary 1.
I wouldn't be who I am today if it weren't for the people
I got to know in SC and things i got to do there.
Student Councillor ROCKS :D
Hope one day you'd reply my texts :)
and go back to how we used to chat :D
ILoveYou
